Alison Morrison, Alto

Alison is a registered nurse, and has worked in the field of Home Care since 1987. She is a member of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren, NJ, where she is active in the parish music ministry as a leader of song, and as founding member of the parish wellness ministry.

Although Alison's professional career is not related to music, she has sung and played guitar since early childhood. Since 1976, she has served as leader of song at healing masses, retreats and days of renewal on the parish, diocesan, and statewide level.

One of Alison's most rewarding musical experiences was as a member of the Beloved Daughters, a women's chorale under the direction of Barbara Sanderman. Proceeds from the Beloved Daughters’ compact disc recording, Have Courage, My Soul, benefitted the Adorno Fathers’ Mission.

Alison and her husband, Chuck, have two married sons and several grandchildren.
