Julia-Louise Missie

Born in Englewood, New Jersey and raised in Orange County, New York, Julia began singing by swapping babysitting for voice lessons when she was in high school. She was a member of the Moody Chorale as a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. After graduate school, she moved to South Korea to teach English for a year, and ended up staying there for 8 years. She taught English in the Department of Language Education at Handong Global University in Pohang, South Korea, led students in Bible studies and short-term missions groups, and sang with the praise team at Handong International Church.

Julia and her husband Edmond relocated to New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2009 and attend Zarephath Christian Church. She is grateful to be singing in an ensemble group with such wonderful and talented musicians, and thrilled that the main purpose of our singing is to support missions in Africa. "I will sing of the Lord's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations." Psalm 89:1
